Summary:
The primary function of the General Utility Worker position is to clean and sanitize all dining utensils, drinking glasses, and dishes to maintain the health and safety standards of the facility and increase overall customer satisfaction.
Essential Tasks and
Responsibilities:
oMain duties include cleaning and sanitizing all pots, pans, utensils and all service ware after useoResponsible for proper use of all equipment, specifically cleaning, loading and unloading the dishwasher oStock, organize, and maintain utensils and all service ware in the food court during meal productionoStock, organize, and maintain utensils, pots, pans, and all service ware in the kitchen during and after meal productionoFollow food and service ware safety standards at all times oClean and sanitize work stations, counters, dish belt, floors, and equipment while following all departmental regulations and proceduresoFollow proper sanitation, lifting procedures and food handling controls oAssist in the utility area of the kitchen oResponsible for floor and wall care of entire facility (use Tennant floor machine when applicable)oSpot sweep and clean the floors, checking for spills in the dish room as well as the front of the houseoClean the drains in the kitchen and dish roomoTake out trash in the dish roomoCross-train for sanitation, beverages, and table attendant position and provide assistance in those areas as neededoReport safety hazards discovered in the location to management immediatelyoReport all injuries immediately to your manager/supervisoroDaily use of appropriate PPE for the task assignedoFollow correct use of chemicals used in the location(s)Additional Job Functions:
oStock inventory shipments and help complete weekly inventory countsoAssist in other areas as neededoCompletion of any task requested by a supervisor or member of the Bridgeman Hospitality management teamSupervisory
